So this was a bittersweet weekend, filled with pride for a daughter who has accomplished so much during her high school years, sadness to know that she will be off to college soon and excitement to see the directions and life choices that she will make. There is much excitement for the new beginnings to come; but I still have visions of the curly haired toddler running down the road trying to keep up with her sister, dragging her beloved Eeyore behind her. Hopefully I will be done with all the blubbering soon.
It is also such a sweet time watching a daughter take off for her new beginnings. I am sure you are very proud of her.
