Scarves worked on during the olympics |
the dye-olympics start soon... |
First is the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool festival Sept 7-9th. So far I have lots of really white wool staring at me while I try to get some weaving inventory finished. I keep putting on one more warp and if I don't stop soon, my booth will be a little less colorful this year. Also I have been weaving so much that my wenis hurts. (My daughter assures me that this is what the funny bone part of your elbow is called. And who am I to argue, I have others things to worry about.)
The following weekend is a wonderful local fair called the Driftless Area Art Festival, where I will be selling my handwovens, notecards and whatever jewelry I can pull together in short order. Why don't I get this all done in January and February, you might ask? Beats me...
Good luck, or as we say here in New Zealand, Kia Kaha.
ReplyDeleteYour scarves are simply beautiful. Your booth will be too.

ReplyDeleteI hope all your mad weaving is worth the trouble.
